So what features does Enyo Commerce actually support? The first version already includes all essentials B2B e-commerce features.

ERP functionality

ERP specific features such as

  • Product master data
  • Price calculation and currency handling
  • Taxes/VAT/duty
  • Invent information (in stock quantities, dates, and variants)
  • Product unit handling (sales packaging and conversion)
  • All Customer Account / Employee / Vendor master data

- are all consumed and reproduced by Enyo Commerce ensuring sales in the e-commerce functions the same way as your ERP system does it. Only functionality not provided by your ERP system is added in Enyo Commerce. For some specific features you can choose to override the standard ERP functionality, such as product localization etc., either because you would prefer the admin module/web handling of these data, or because your ERP maybe not support this functionality.

Product Catalog and Detail

For displaying your products in a general manner, we have a standard hierarchical catalog structure in which you can organize your products for both display and handle security/accessibility features. This includes as well the standard displaying of products in a grid / list and detail, with any available property can be displayed or used, and from which the products can be ordered. Products from your ERP system can be “decorated” with custom properties, images and localized descriptions. This feature can be handled and edited using the Admin application, along with all other features not handled by the ERP system.

Product Relations

Products can be related to each other, to promote “alternatives”, new arrivals, accessories etc. This improves the customer service level, making it easier for the customer to make a complete purchase with minimal errors.

If the customer e.g. orders a coffee machine, the list could consist of coffee filters, coffee and similar that will make the customers purchase complete.

Custom Product Lists

For providing your customers with easy access to current and specific product selections, you can create and edit a number of custom lists in the administrative module. For this purpose you can also add custom texts and images for the products related to a certain list. Custom Lists can also be automatically generated based on the value of certain properties from the ERP system.

Dimension Catalog

Additionally we offer a dimension based hierarchical catalog alternative that best can described as hierarchical levels of properties of which the products can be divided. You can imagine it to be a tree consisting of all products divided e.g. first by Main Category, then divided by Producers, and maybe last a Price range etc. The Hierarchical catalog can be configured completely by dynamically, and this functionality can even be used to differentiate search results, or other product segments.

Order Templates

This a simple way for the end user to configure and assemble lists of products they order recurrently or just often. The self-composed product lists can be composed in a number of ways, and apart from ordering , also downloaded, printed and be used for other purposes.

Ordering Process

Products can be ordered in many ways in Enyo Commerce. The standard is browsing or searching through the catalog and adding products to your order, but alternatives such as simply doing a selective reorder of past orders or invoices, or using the order templates are all ways to fit whatever the end user finds more suitable for their need.

The user can have multiple open orders, or “shopping baskets” that can be composed simultaneously, merged or completed separately.

Since completing an order always has different requirements for every business, all the most used features are available for this part of the application. This includes various

  • Delivery
  • Options,
  • Insurance,
  • Freight,
  • Markup and Duty additions.

Self service Features

You can give the logged in user access to all relevant order history. This includes the following documents

  • Order Requests (Orders from Enyo Commerce)
  • Confirmed orders (Sales Orders from the ERP)
  • Delivery notes and Tracking references
  • Invoices
  • Account Statement, for the registered settlements.

It is possible to search, filter, print and download all documents. Furthermore each document can be used as an order template for easy repeating a recurring order.

The user can register for e-mail notifications on all levels, for when an order has been confirmed, when products are shipped, invoiced etc.

SOA Enabling

All central features of the Enyo Commerce are exposed as WebServices (in WCF Service format). This allows for your partner and customers to integrate their own e-commerce and/or ERP system to your Enyo Commerce application with great ease and no extra cost for you. All you have to do is to grant access to the users or roles that you would allow using these services.
You may choose to entirely disable this feature.
